Web site is up and running as is the message board.
Web: www.GBGPublishing.com
Message Board: I posted a new thread on the message board about the art work and attached a poll. If we beg prettily and voted for the ones we want to see the most I bet Tex will post a preview or two next week! How about it? Are you in?

My Begining
Well, I have to say that 2009 was a year of extremes. January last year I started going to a gaming group on Tuesday nights to learn to do dialogue better for my writing. By the beginning of summer I had taken over the job of game master. I met a lot of new people and as a result.... well I will tell you about that later.
December 6th (I remember the day very well) I was approached by a friend, Harold Tietjens (Tex) to join him and his friend. Brian Witt (Lash) in forming a game company. By the way, my character will be Rose. We sat and talked for several hours. I saw the potential in what they wanted to do and the work involved was stuff I had done in the past. They already had a potential investor in mind. I liked their ideas and the attitudes they had. Knowing they were at a loss as to what to do next I decided to sign on with them and at 11:05 pm that day I became one of the three founders and the VP of Communications+ of a brand new gaming company called 'Games By Gamers Publishing, LLC'.
So that day, with my usual take charge attitude, I pushed Harold into making assignments as to what to do first. I of course offered to do the web design, do secretarial work, help with design work and work with printers. I the space of one week we had a printer ready to rock for us, and the first game, Spin the Issues in testing state. By the end of three weeks we have become noticed by fans on facebook. We have distributors curious. We have two artists busy creating art work for us. We have a bank account in the business name and a federal EIN. We have a business plan of sorts. We have a web site ready to go up with two prodcts already on it (dice & deck bags, Promotional T-shirts). We have an office space we will be moving into next week, and best of all we feel good about what we are doing and comfortable with each other. We laugh and tease each other and have become closer because of the work. I hope it always stays that way. They are both good men and our friendship means a lot to me.
After the first 10 days, Harold stated that he felt he had had a rocket strapped to his back and was heading for a cliff face, hoping he could pull hard enough to climb it instead of crashing into it. I would never admit it to him but, I hope for his sake and for Brian's that we do manage to climb that cliff face and make it big. Both of the men are young and really need to have families of their own. Me, I will always be alone because I will never trust a man to get close enough to me to matter ever again. After the deaths of three husbands and Don's attitude toward me, I cannot, nay will not, ever do that again. My life will now be this little company and I will breathe life into it and make it grow.
So 2010 is promising to be fortuitous year and a very busy one. Harold and I shared champagne last night and toasted the new year, lamenting that Brian could not be there with us (he is working at WalMart third shift).
Today I will be typing all of our notes for the last 3 weeks and finishing the artist contracts. It is the start of the really hard work that will make sure this company stays on an even keel. It is what I love to do.
Sincerely,
Kelsey (Rose) Jones
